Janitorial Postion - Belle Plaine

Topa is looking for motivated Janitors to join our team on a full-time basis in Belle Plaine! The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of the janitorial team to clean at the Potash Mine sites. 

Position Title: Full-Time Janitorial 

Location: Belle Plaine Mosaic Mine Site

Start Date: Immediately

Closing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired

Responsibilities:

• Clean Lobbies, restrooms, offices, walkways, ramps, and stairways of buildings
• Sweep, scrub. Wash, and polish floors and clean rugs
• Dust furniture, wash walls
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting of up to 50lbs
• Empty waste and transport to disposal area
• Replenish bathroom supplies
• Other duties as assigned 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment
• Ability to work independently
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Problem solving Skills
• Ability to Multitask
• Must pass a Drug and Alcohol test
• Experience working in a similar cleaning or janitorial role is considered an asset
• Must have valid class 5 drivers license

Safety:

Attend and participate in the following exercises:

• Safety meetings 
• Tool box talks 
• Site inspections
• Complete FLRA's
