Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
3-month term

The YMCA of Brandon is seeking a qualified, passionate applicant to join our Cleaning team!

As part of the cleaning team working in a very busy facility, this position will report to the Cleaning Supervisor and the Director of Facilities & Maintenance and will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the building and equipment including the change rooms. This position includes cleaning the female changerooms during operational hours. 

This is a term position with the potential to become permanent. 

Major Responsibilities and Abilities:

• Clean areas identified and assigned (e.g. cleaning washrooms and showers, sweeping, vacuuming and wet mopping floors, dusting, glass cleaning, emptying garbages, etc.)
• Help with occasional set up and take down of program equipment
• Restock supplies as needed
• Extra projects as assigned
• Attend all regularly scheduled staff meetings
• Adhere to all YMCA Child Protection Policies and Procedures
  
  

Qualifications:

• Cleaning experience an asset but not required
• Standard First Aid & CPR (will provide if not certified)
• WHIMIS (will provide if not certified)
• Current Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry checks
